His perspective
A short blurb as we bid adios to Madrid this morning and are now back home in the 'Dam.
We gave Spain short shrift before we left the states. All we said before we left was "when we get to the 'dam, we must...........".
We arrived in Spain on the 5th of March. We next mentioned the 'dam when we were looking for the departure gate this morning.
Cordoba, Sevilla, Segovia and Madrid were all wonderful. Toledo....eh?
Weather, check. Architecture, check. People, check. Sights, check. Food, check.
A wonderful place.
Madrid can be summed up as walk a bit, stop for tapas y vino, walk a bit, mas tapas y vino, walk a bit slower, mas tapas y vino.
